Thank you for taking time to visit our site.  Garner has been endorsed by the Alpharetta Lions Club as well as his home district, District 18L (Northwest Georgia), and is now seeking the endorsement of his multiple district, MD 18.

Background

Garner is a third-generation Lion who has been active in his local club, zone, district, MD, and Constitutional Area long before he formally became a Lion in 1997.  Click here to read more.

Qualifications & Platform

Lion Garner has always had a heart for service, thanks to the wonderful examples he grew up around, and you can always hear him speaking to Lions and prospective Lions alike about the importance of wanting to help others and also have a good time while serving. He's not shy about sharing these core values.

In addition to the Lions Club roles both elected and appointed that Lion Garner has had, he holds a degree in pre-law and political philosophy from the University of Georgia (UGA).  He worked in the legal field for four years, however upon leaving UGA, he shifted his career path, and began work as a developer and computer consultant.  The last 25 years of his career have been spent in digital marketing, where he is now a senior executive at Epsilon, a Publicis Groupe company.  He has been with Epsilon almost 10 years.  This professional experience has been invaluable in his Lions career as well, helping provide needed skills around technology, but especially with marketing and communications.

While having served in many official roles at all levels of Lionism, Lion Garner has focused heavily on membership.  He has personally sponsored dozens of Lions Club members, formed multiple Leo clubs, and formed multiple new Lions clubs, including the Pixels & Dice Lions Club.  Lion Garner believes that developing our membership, especially in a way that prepares us for success in the future, is critical to Lionism.  You can read more about the exciting new Pixels & Dice Lions Club here.

Lion Garner is grateful to the Lions of his club, district, multiple district, and around the world, just to have the opportunity to serve in a larger official capacity as an International Director.  He believes it is a wonderful opportunity to share with Lions and those we serve around the world, what a fantastic multiple district he is blessed to have grown up in, and to serve in.
